Sandwich platter -choose from variety of sliced deli  meats, including Montreal smoked meat, cooked honey ham, fresh oven roasted turkey, and AAA Alberta roast beef. Vegetarian options are also available on special request. All sandwiches come topped with real sliced cheese, special second chef blends of spreads, various salad vegetables and a healthy selection of fresh from the bakery breads.

Deli platter- choose from a variety of deli sliced meats and cheese comes w/ three kinds of crackers, pickles, buns and second chefs sauces perfect choice to build your own deli style luncheon


Wraps platters- the second chef starts with diverse  types of soft flour tortilla shells, special second chef sauces cheese and various types of fresh sliced deli style meats, veggies and cheese and we roll them up into healthy meal sealed with cream cheese.


Daily Soups- made fresh for every order and served hot to you, ask about the soup king’s ideas


Dessert bars- wide variety of bars with everything from Nanaimo- brownies, a great addition to any meal


Fresh salad ideas
Second chef salad-a fresh chef’s blend of lettuce, shredded carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers made into a delicious salad prepared crisp for every order


Cobb salad- start with a second chef house blend of salad and topped with shredded cheese, olives, peppers, mushrooms, diced tomatoes  with real bacon bits and hardboiled eggs


Spinach salad- we start with baby spinach and add mozzarella cheese, real bacon bits some baby mandarin oranges and hardboiled eggs on top


Cesar salad- a classic version of César salad with romaine lettuce, grated parmesan cheese crustini, croutons and real bacon bits


Potato salad- generally accompanying a main course at a barbeque this second chef spin on things includes red potatoes, green onions, secret spices and mayonnaise


Marinated vegetable salad- tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, olives, red and green peppers marinated in the second chef’s special blend of spices and sauce served as a light meal or as a side at any function


Fruit salad- fresh cut fruit melons, oranges, pineapple and other seasonal fruits perfect for a healthier lunch time meal                    Two different sizes available

Fruit platter – a wide variety of seasonal fruit cut fresh and served fresh daily


Veggie platter- celery, cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and radishes cut so you can enjoy them as an appetizer or with a main course comes w/ ranch dressing and one other variety of dipping sauces.

Hot entrees
Roast beef- AAA Alberta beef cooked medium rare and basted in homemade au jus, comes w/ either roasted or mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, horseradish sauce and fresh bakery buns for that total meal feel.

Beef bourguignon – a classic French recipe made with 100% AAA Angus beef pearl onions, mushrooms, gravy and red wine. Seasoned to perfection and served with either rice pilaf or rotini pasta

Lasagna Bolognese- delicious layered lasagna made w/ a blend of cheeses, meaty tomato sauce and zag noodles in a deep dish for a great meal comes w/ garlic toast
Chicken w peach cream sauce- grilled chicken breasts marinated in a sweet creamy sauce over a bed of blended rice, comes w/ steamed veggies and fresh bakery buns.

Fish and chips - another classic second chef style. Battered haddock or cod served with crispy roasted potatoes and a sweet tarter sauce. All made by hand and delivered fresh.

Salmon in dill sauce- 6 oz pieces of oven roasted salmon w/ a creamy dill dressing on top served over a bed of wild rice and steamed veggies. Comes w fresh bakery buns
