About Us

The Second Chef is a family-owned small business that specializes in catering services for childcare (early years and out-of-school care).

We have been working with the Childcare Centers over 10 years. We provide high quality, affordable, nutritious, and delicious lunches and snacks for children of all ages.

We have established great relationships with the staff, parents, and children as well. During our 10 years of work, we catered lunches and snacks for up to 36 programs at certain times.

Our commercial kitchen is equipped with professional equipment to meet high-quality standards and designed to take on any amount of work. Our kitchen is NUT FREE, carries full liability insurance, and has all inspections up to date. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and further to our already rigorous food safety standard, we have implemented enhanced hygiene procedures which includes additional cleaning and sanitation within our facility.

We are always striving to improve our systems to accommodate any needs and delivering on our promises. We are solution seekers, and we will adapt quickly to any change. We know your business depends on our business and we take that seriously.
